BIOGRAPHY
Fernando Arteaga González was born in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz, Spain). Since childhood, influenced by his relatives, he began to feel passion and interest for music. When he was a kid he studied musical language and piano, and some time after he chose to start playing guitar with guitarist Juan Fernandez of 40 Promesas. His family left a mark on him for music tastes, when he started to listen to bands such as ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Jayhawks, REM, Jimi Hendrix and many more.
In his teenage years, he created some of his firsts bands and gigs alongside the country, playing in festivals such as Monkey Week 2012 (El Puerto de Santa Maria). In 2013 his first studio album was released and later that year, in December, he moved to Santiago de Chile (Chile) due to the economic crisis of the moment.
After many attempts of assembling a band, at the end of 2015 he finally joined Luis (vocal) to create Hollow Humanity band, by releasing together one LP, one EP, one Split and 3 Singles, as well as four video clips. During his 4 years of activity in the band, they played in countries like Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany and Czech Republic. In 2018, their album, “Hives & Trophies”, was nominated to “Best Modern Metal disc of the year” by the Premios Escuchar awards (Chile); meanwhile his belonging to Hollow Humanity band, he also took part in the band called Asunto, where he was a member until the split of the band.
In February 2020, Fernando Arteaga announced his leave out of the band due to the difficulties of playing, as he was living in San Sebastián at that moment.
